The new home for all my future open-sourceness
With the new release of 3.1 I’m falling in love/hate with safari again. In a general sense, it rocks — hardcore. Super fast, super clean, and the new Web Inspector UI is just awesome.
But there’s also a lot of shit left in it. Stuff that should have been fixed years ago. If these were fixed, I’d have a love/love relationship with Safari.
- I just want a keyboard shortcut to switch tabs that works. All of the time. Not just half the time.
- Stop crashing. No, fore reals — crashing browsers leads to mental instability.
- I want links with target=”_blank” to open in the same window, new tab. That includes window.open calls too. I don’t want to install an extension, just fix this.
